About Our Wooden Toy Shop

Our Wooden Toy Shop is a family run small business located in the beautiful Fair Trade Village of Aberlour - Home to Walkers Shortbread (yes the village often does smell like freshly baked cookies!), Aberlour Whiskey and salmon fishing on the River Spey

With a young family our search for great wooden toys locally proved too limited and challenging, so we decided to source and stock them ourselves in our village shop. Delighted by local response, we are now spreading our wings to reach further afield.

We stock only the best and most appealing type of wooden toys,  supporting British designs, extending to worldwide toys that are too good to ignore! Our toys are individually chosen for our shop for quality and beautifully design. We actively search for ethical production and environmental sustainability and work whenever possible to support the Fair Trade status of our village

Our toy range is growing with my family and we hope to continue to push the upper age limit of our toys to suit our children's needs and hopefully yours. We attend Toy Fairs every year to add to our range and seek out new innovation. Many of our toys can be reviewed on the independent Good Toy Guide. Finally our toys must be made from wood or have wooden components and as such are fabulously tactile and will no doubt be passed down to siblings for generations
